Roll forming is a cost effective high volume production process that can produce a variety of shapes from simple "U" channels to complex profiles.

The ability to hold relatively fine tolerances, makes the process suitable for all kinds of industries including automotive, white goods and building.

Many processes like punching, notching, stamping, etc. can be peformed in line during roll forming using pre-punching presses. As this is generally done without interruption to the forming process, it does not add to the cost of the part.
